Letterhead and branding
Set up your workspace export profile so every deliverable ships with your branding.
Letterhead and branding
One profile, applied to every export. Set it up once.
The 30-second version
Workspace branding lives at Settings → Export profile. It's text-based today: company name, tagline, address, contact, font, and PDF accent colour. The profile is applied automatically when you export a workroom to .docx or .pdf. Image-based letterheads (uploaded logo, custom header band) are coming soon.
Why this matters
Every deliverable that leaves AtelyaOS is client-facing. If the letterhead is wrong, missing, or generic, you can't send the file directly — you have to paste it into Word and manually re-format. The export profile is the one-time setup that lets you skip that step forever.
How it works
What's in the export profile
A workspace has exactly one export profile. Fields:
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Company name | The name printed at the top of every deliverable. |
| Tagline (optional) | One line under the name. |
| Address | Office address block. |
| Contact email | The email printed in the footer / contact block. |
| Contact phone (optional) | Phone number for the footer. |
| Font | Body-text font for both .docx and .pdf. |
| PDF accent colour | Hex colour used for headings and section dividers in .pdf. |
| "Prepared with AtelyaOS" | Optional footer line; toggle on/off. |

Where it shows up
.docx— header block at the top of page one, footer block on every page..pdf— same header/footer plus accent-coloured section dividers.
The profile applies automatically. There is no per-workroom override today — every export from this workspace uses the same letterhead.
Setting it up
- Go to Settings → Export profile.
- Fill in company name and tagline.
- Add address and contact details.
- Pick a font. The default is suitable for most agencies; pick something distinctive only if your brand requires it.
- Set the PDF accent colour. A neutral dark colour (charcoal, navy, deep teal) works for most cases.
- Toggle the "Prepared with AtelyaOS" footer.
- Save.
The next workroom you export uses this profile.
Image-based branding (coming soon)
Logo upload, custom header bands, and full layout templates are on the roadmap but not yet shipped. The migration that introduced the export profile is explicit that the first version is text-only:
V1 is text-only; image letterheads are out of scope.
If you need a logo on the deliverable today, the workaround is:
- Export to
.docx. - Open in Word.
- Drop your logo into the header.
- Save your own template for re-use.
We don't recommend this as a permanent solution — image upload is the next iteration.
Multiple sub-brands
A single workspace has one export profile. If your agency has a sub-brand or a white-label arm with a separate identity, the cleanest pattern today is a separate workspace per brand. See multi-workspace.
Common pitfalls
- Skipping setup. Without a profile, the letterhead is generic. Fill it out before your first real export.
- Treating the accent colour as decorative. It's used in section dividers and looks bold in PDFs. Pick something that works on both light and dark printers.
- Mixing branded sub-brands in one workspace. One profile per workspace. If you have two distinct brands, run two workspaces.
- Editing the profile mid-revision. Changing the profile doesn't re-export past
.docx/.pdffiles. Re-export to apply the new branding.
What's next
- Export deliverable — the workflow that uses this profile.
- Multi-workspace — when one workspace isn't enough.
- Deliverables — the model behind exports.
